Our Journey in NYC
Whitmans opened its first location in New York City 10 years ago with the goal of serving elevated comfort food in a cozy, neighborhood environment. After opening two more successful locations in NYC, owners Larry and Craig have turned their gaze to the sunshine state. They fell in love with Miami after a trip in 2002 and started consistently visiting. The vibrant food scene, beautiful weather and friendly community made Miami feel like the perfect spot to bring their neighborhood focused restaurant.
As soon as you walk into any one of our Whitmans Restaurants, you feel like you’re home. Whitmans’ relaxed atmosphere is filled with delicious burgers, salads, sides and refreshing brews. Dedicated to using local ingredients and suppliers, Whitmans quickly becomes the heart of each community it joins.
Elevated Comfort Food
Our dedication to serve fresh elevated comfort food can be seen at each of our Whitmans locations. We make the majority of our sauces and dressings in-house, grind together premium meats to create delicious beef patty blends, freshly sliced vegetables for zesty salads and much more to create an elevated experience for all of our guests. We’re not just comfort food. Our premier ingredients allow us to always serve exceptionally elevated comfort food.
Our Community
Whitmans is committed to the local community both inside and outside of the restaurant. We always buy from local suppliers when available and work to give back through charity events and other fundraisers. Whitmans New York recently was involved in a fundraiser where our team walked to raise money for HousingPlus, which provides housing and supportive services to women and children in crisis.
